Retail Sales Communications and or Radio Technician
We are seeking a
Retail Sales Team Member and a Radio Communications Technician
to join the team at Central West Communications in Dubbo, NSW. This is a
full-time position
that combines customer-facing retail sales expertise with technical knowledge of radio communications, UHF, VHF, Wi-Fi equipment and systems. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers whilst maintaining our reputation for quality products and professional advice. This role is based in Dubbo, with field technical services. We are offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment where technical knowledge and customer service excellence are equally valued.
What you'll be doing
Providing expert sales advice to customers on radio communications products, systems and solutions tailored to their specific needs
Demonstrating product features and capabilities to customers, highlighting technical specifications and advantages
Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently whilst maintaining excellent customer service standards
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty
Assisting with basic technical support and troubleshooting for radio communications equipment
Maintaining inventory levels, stock organisation and visual merchandising standards within the retail space
Keeping up to date with new products, features and industry developments in radio communications technology
Collaborating with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store




Handling customer enquiries and complaints professionally and courteously
What we're looking for
Retail sales experience, preferably technical.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage customers and build rapport
Basic understanding of radio communications equipment, systems or related technology (or willingness to develop this knowledge)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
A keen interest in technology and communications products
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment
Experience with point-of-sale systems and retail software is advantageous but not essential
