Lismore Base Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Coronary Care Unit team on a contract basis. This is a time-limited opportunity running from now through to 25 October ****, based at the hospital in Lismore, NSW. The role offers the chance to deliver specialist cardiac nursing care in a supportive clinical environment within the Northern Rivers region.
Specialist CCU nursing role with direct patient care responsibilities

Preferred Requirements
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Demonstrated experience working in a Coronary Care Unit or similar high-acuity cardiac environment




Strong clinical assessment and monitoring skills specific to cardiac patients
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a rapid-paced setting
Sound knowledge of cardiac medications, equipment, and emergency protocols
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
Post-graduate qualification or certification in Cardiac or Critical Care Nursing
Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) or equivalent cardiac emergency certification
