Dental Receptionist / Dental Nurse

About the role
The successful applicant will assist with both front‐desk reception and clinical dental nursing duties, including:
Welcoming patients and managing the reception area
Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries
Scheduling and confirming appointments
Managing patient records and correspondence
Processing payments and health‐fund claims
Preparing treatment rooms and equipment
Assisting the dentist during procedures




Sterilising instruments and maintaining infection‐control standards
Providing support and reassurance to patients
Maintaining a clean, organised and professional clinic
Completing general administrative duties as required
About you
The successful applicant will ideally have:
Previous dental reception and/or dental nursing experience
Relevant dental nursing qualifications or experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A friendly, caring and professional manner
Strong organisational and time‐management skills
Good computer skills and attention to detail
The ability to work calmly and efficiently in a busy environment
A willingness to learn and contribute to a positive team culture
Current infection‐control knowledge, or a willingness to complete relevant training
Previous experience with dental practice software and health‐fund claiming systems would be highly regarded.
