Aquavue Beachfront Bar & Eatery is looking for an experienced Front of House Supervisor with high-level barista experience to join our leadership team.
n
This is more than a senior barista position. We're looking for someone who can lead from the front, take ownership of our coffee operation and help create a positive, professional and high-performing environment across our Front of House team.
n
You'll work alongside our FOH Manager and wider leadership team, with a particular focus on coffee quality, training, cleanliness, presentation and operational standards.
n
We're a busy beachfront venue with a strong team culture, and we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality, takes pride in what they do and wants to be part of building a great workplace.

The Role
n
As our Front of House Supervisor – Coffee & Standards, you will:
n
n
Lead by example during busy café and service periods
n
Produce consistently high-quality coffee at speed
n
Help oversee and develop our coffee operation
n
Train, coach and support baristas and junior team members
n
Maintain coffee recipes, procedures and quality standards
n
Monitor coffee consistency, workflow and presentation
n
Support the FOH Manager with day-to-day operations
n
Help maintain high standards of cleanliness and venue presentation
n




Ensure procedures, food safety and operational standards are followed
n
Identify areas for improvement and help implement better systems
n
Support a positive, respectful and accountable team culture
n
Step into a supervisory role during shifts and confidently provide direction when required
n

About You
n
We're looking for someone who:
n
n
Has strong, demonstrated specialty or high-volume coffee experience
n
Can confidently work a busy coffee machine while maintaining quality and consistency
n
Has previous supervisory, leadership or senior hospitality experience
n
Understands coffee extraction, milk texture, workflow and equipment care
n
Enjoys teaching and developing others
n
Has high standards for cleanliness, organisation and presentation
n
Communicates clearly and professionally
n
Is reliable, proactive and comfortable taking responsibility
n
Can give constructive feedback while maintaining positive team relationships
n
Works well under pressure without bringing negativity into the team
n
Is willing to jump in and help wherever needed
n
Holds an RSA or is willing to obtain one
n
