Mechanical Plumber
to join our team on a
full-time basis
in Bendigo, VIC. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing airconditioninng systems and related equipment. This position is integral to our service delivery, ensuring that our clients receive professional, reliable solutions for their air conditioning and refrigeration plumbing needs. You will work on commercial projects, contributing to the high standards DPK Mechanical Services is known for in the industry.
Key responsibilities
Install, inspect, and repair AC systems, including pipes, fittings, and fixtures
Diagnose issues and identify appropriate solutions for clients
Read and interpret drawings and specifications
Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
Use specialised tools and equipment safely and effectively
Communicate with clients regarding project scope, timelines, and outcomes
Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members on job sites
What we are looking for
Recognised plumbing qualification or trade certification in mechanical plumbing
Proven experience working as a plumber, preferably with exposure to air conditioning and refrigeration systems
Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety standards, and regulations in Victoria
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Competency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised plumbing equipment




Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent problem‐solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a professional approach to client interactions
Physical fitness and ability to work in various environments and conditions
Current driver's licence and reliable transport
Willingness to maintain and develop technical knowledge through ongoing training
