Lismore Base Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its ICU team on a contract basis. This is an immediate chance running through to 25 October ****, based at the hospital in Lismore, NSW. The role offers the chance to work in a critical care environment, supporting a dedicated team in one of the Northern Rivers region's key healthcare facilities.
ICU nursing in a contract role, ASAP through to 25 October ****
Work with ventilator-dependent patients in a high-acuity setting
Based in Lismore, NSW, surrounded by the lush countryside and rainforest of the Northern Rivers
Preferred Requirements
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Demonstrated ICU nursing experience
Ventilator competency and hands-on experience managing mechanically ventilated patients
Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced critical care environment
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated specialisation in critical care nursing
Additional certifications in intensive care or emergency nursing
