Morson Edge is working exclusively with Tilt Renewables, one of Australia's leading renewable energy businesses, to appoint a Head of Asset Management. Tilt Renewables is an Australian renewable energy developer, owner and operator with a long term focus on building and caring for high quality renewable generation assets. With 1.9GW of operational assets and a development pipeline of more than 5GW, Tilt is entering an exciting period of continued growth. The business currently operates 12 renewable energy sites, representing around $4.8 billion in asset value, with a further two projects under construction. With corporate offices in Sydney and Melbourne and a growing team of around 150 people, Tilt takes a pragmatic, commercially focused approach to developing, operating and optimising its renewable energy portfolio.
About The Role
This is a senior position central to Tilt's continued growth and the performance of its operational portfolio. Reporting to the EGM Operations and Markets, you'll support and develop a team of five Asset Managers across operational assets and property, providing direction, mentoring and care across the group. You'll help ensure Tilt's assets are safe, reliable and commercially successful. You'll be balancing technical performance, financial outcomes, regulatory compliance and long term asset value. Working closely with colleagues across engineering, grid, markets, development and delivery, you'll shape and implement asset management strategies, oversee key operational and maintenance contracts, and partner with the Head of Asset Engineering to identify and deliver performance opportunities across the fleet. It's a role for an experienced asset management skilled who enjoys working at both a strategic and hands on level,



brings sound commercial judgement, and builds strong relationships across a diverse group of stakeholders. Based in Sydney or Melbourne, with regular travel to Tilt's operational sites.
What You'll Be Doing
Support and develop the Asset Management team, nurturing a collaborative, caring and accountable culture
Provide strategic direction across Tilt's operational asset portfolio
Shape and implement long term asset management strategies that support performance, cost and asset value
Oversee Operations & Maintenance, network connection and other key service contracts
Look after relationships with OEMs, O&M; providers, EBoP/CBoP contractors, network operators and other key suppliers
Keep a strong focus on safety, environmental performance and regulatory compliance across the portfolio
Take ownership of financial performance, including budgeting, cost management, reporting and business case development
Identify and prioritise opportunities to improve asset performance, reliability and commercial outcomes
Partner with the Head of Asset Engineering to turn engineering insight into practical initiatives across the fleet
Help keep assets compliant with the National Electricity Rules, planning and environmental requirements, PPAs and other obligations
Build strong working relationships across Engineering, Grid, Markets, Development, Delivery, Land,



Legal, HSE, Finance and Technology
Maintain close, effective relationships with landholders, neighbours, regulators, AEMO, DNSPs, TNSPs and other external stakeholders
Stay close to industry developments and market trends shaping Australia's energy transition
Support continuous improvement and fresh thinking across the asset base
What you'll likely bring
Around 7 years' experience in asset management, ideally in renewable energy or another complex infrastructure setting
Experience managing commercial and operational contracts, particularly maintenance and service agreements
Sound commercial and financial judgement, including budgeting, cost management and business case preparation
Experience supporting and developing teams, and building a positive, connected team culture
A good understanding of safety, environmental and health management systems
Familiarity with renewable assets across wind, solar and battery storage
Working knowledge of the Australian National Electricity Market (NEM) and the broader energy industry
An engineering degree, trade or technical qualification, or equivalent asset management experience
A full Australian driver's licence
