About the Role
We are seeking compassionate, reliable and experienced
Female Support Workers
to provide high-intensity support to a
6-month-old female infant
during overnight shifts.
The role involves providing attentive, safe and personalised care in a home setting. Experience with high-intensity support is highly regarded; however,
full training and support will be provided
to the successful applicants.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist with:
Overnight care and monitoring
Oxygen administration
NGT (nasogastric tube) feeding
Oral suctioning
High-intensity support needs
Following individualised care and support plans
Monitoring the participant and escalating any concerns appropriately
Maintaining accurate progress notes and shift documentation
Working closely with the family and care team
Maintaining a safe, calm and supportive environment
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Female
Compassionate, patient and attentive
Reliable and comfortable working overnight shifts




Comfortable working with an infant with complex/high-intensity support needs
Experienced in disability, nursing, paediatric or high-intensity support is desirable
Confident following clinical instructions and care plans
Able to communicate effectively with families and the wider care team
Professional, respectful and committed to providing high-quality care
Previous experience with oxygen administration, NGT feeding and oral suctioning is highly regarded, but not essential as training will be provided.
Training & Support
Comprehensive training will be provided
to ensure successful applicants are confident and competent in the required support procedures before working independently.
Requirements
Current First Aid & CPR
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working with Children Check
Relevant disability/healthcare experience highly regarded
Availability for overnight shifts
Ability to follow clinical procedures and documentation requirements
Pay: $***** – $***** per hour
Expected hours: No less than 18.0 per week
