Sante Recruitment is seeking an experienced
Staff Specialist Urologist
to join a progressive public health service serving communities across the
Tweed, Richmond and Clarence Valleys
.
This is an opportunity to provide contemporary, comprehensive urological care within a well-established regional health network, while contributing to clinical leadership, education, quality improvement and the ongoing development of specialist services.
The Opportunity The successful candidate will provide
high-quality specialist Urology services
at the primary facility and other facilities across the network, where required, ensuring patients receive timely and appropriate specialist care.
Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will contribute to the delivery of safe, evidence-based clinical services and support the broader objectives of the health service.
Key Responsibilities
Provide contemporary and comprehensive Specialist Urology services.
Assess, diagnose and manage patients across the full scope of your specialist practice.
Provide specialist consultation and clinical management at the primary facility and other network facilities where appropriate.
Work collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health professionals.
Provide clinical leadership within the Urology service.
Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement activities.
Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives.
Provide training, supervision and education to clinicians across multiple disciplines.
Support protected, high-quality and patient-centred clinical practice.
Contribute to the development of a skilled and sustainable medical workforce.

About You
You will be an experienced Specialist Urologist with:
Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Urology, or equivalent recognised specialist qualification.
Specialist registration with AHPRA, or eligibility for specialist registration.
Appropriate specialist experience in Urology.
Strong clinical and communication skills.
Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centred care.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Interest in clinical leadership, teaching and supervision.
Commitment to quality improvement, clinical governance and patient safety.
International Medical Graduates and Specialist International Medical Graduates with appropriate qualifications and eligibility for specialist registration in Australia are encouraged to enquire.
