Turnbull Motors is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Trainee to join our team. Previous automotive or sales experience isn't essential—we'll provide the training, support and mentoring you need to succeed. We encourage all different industries and backgrounds to apply.
About the role
Working alongside our experienced sales team, you'll learn every stage of the vehicle sales process, including:
Welcoming customers and understanding their vehicle needs
Responding to new and pre-owned vehicle enquiries
Following up customers and developing sales opportunities
Presenting vehicles and conducting test drives
Building product knowledge across Nissan, Mitsubishi and pre-owned vehicles
Assisting with trade-in appraisals and customer proposals
Completing sales documentation accurately
Coordinating professional vehicle handovers
Maintaining customer information and follow-up activities in our CRM
Providing ongoing customer support after delivery
You'll also receive exposure to other areas of the dealership, helping you develop a strong understanding of the automotive industry and the complete customer journey.
About you

Confident, friendly and comfortable speaking with people
Motivated to learn and build a long-term career
Reliable, punctual and professionally presented
Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
A strong communicator and attentive listener
Positive, proactive and willing to contribute to the team
Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
Able to work independently as their experience develops
A current driver's licence and the ability to drive manual vehicles are required.
