M-Tech Solutions is seeking a Telecommunications and Security Field Engineer to install, service and maintain telecommunications and electronic security systems at customer sites.
Our work includes structured cabling, CCTV, alarms, access control and intercoms.
Key responsibilities Install, terminate, test and label copper data and fibre optic cabling.
Install and commission CCTV cameras, recorders and associated network equipment.
Install and test alarm systems, access control devices and intercoms.
Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and assist with system upgrades.
Read plans and job scopes, prepare materials and complete work to the required standard.
Record test results, installation details and outstanding work.
Follow site safety procedures and communicate professionally with customers and the M-Tech Solutions team.




Requirements Practical experience in telecommunications cabling, electronic security installation or a related field.
Ability to use installation tools and test equipment and work from technical drawings.
Sound fault-finding skills and attention to detail.
A current driver's licence.
Relevant licences, registrations and certifications for the work performed.
A reliable approach to safety, documentation and customer service.
Experience across CCTV, alarms, access control, intercoms and structured cabling will be highly regarded.
