MCCOLL CABINETMAKERS PTY LTD is seeking an experienced and motivated Cabinet Maker to join our team in Raceview, Queensland.
This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to work on residential new builds and renovations, occasional commercial cabinetry and occasional built-in furniture projects.
While our primary focus is finding a Cabinet Maker, a suitably experienced Joiner will also be considered.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Working from drawings and specifications to manufacture cabinets and built-in furniture.
Examining drawings, work orders and sample parts to determine specifications.
Selecting and working with materials such as timber, veneers, particle board, synthetic wood and other engineered wood products.
Programming and controlling computer-aided design (CAD) and computer numerical control (CNC) machines to mark out, cut and shape components.
Installing cabinetry for residential recent builds and renovations and occasional commercial fit-outs.




Making bespoke items requiring fine craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Assembling components to form cabinet sections, built-in furniture and completed products.
Fitting hinges, locks, catches, drawers, shelves and other hardware.
Preparing cabinets and built-in furniture for the application of painted coatings and finishes.
REQUIREMENTS Relevant qualification in Cabinet Making, Joinery, or a related field.
Minimum one (1) year of relevant work experience.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Experience operating woodworking machinery and tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
