GEOTECHNICAL SITE SUPERVISOR Rutledge Drilling ABN: ************** Occupation: Building and Engineering Technician nec ANZSCO: ****** Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: Minimum $79,500 per annum + superannuation About the Role Rutledge Drilling is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Geotechnical Site Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis.
The successful candidate will provide technical and engineering support across geotechnical and civil construction projects.
The position involves coordinating and supervising site activities, monitoring project quality and progress, interpreting technical documentation, and ensuring works are completed in accordance with project specifications, safety requirements and quality standards.
The role will also involve the supervision and coordination of drilling, grouting, meshing, scaling and other ground-stabilisation activities.
Key Responsibilities Provide technical support across geotechnical and civil construction projects; Assist with the planning, scheduling and coordination of site activities; Interpret project specifications, drawings, designs, contracts and other technical documentation; Conduct site inspections and monitor works to ensure compliance with project specifications, technical requirements and quality standards; Identify and assist with resolving technical and operational issues arising on site; Monitor quality assurance requirements and maintain relevant inspection, testing and project documentation; Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly site, technical and progress reports; Monitor project progress, site conditions, safety, quality and contractual requirements; Liaise with clients, engineers, contractors,



project managers and management regarding technical and project matters; Provide technical guidance and supervision to site personnel and coordinate the day-to-day delivery of works; Supervise and coordinate drilling, grouting, meshing, scaling and other geotechnical and ground-stabilisation activities; and Ensure works are completed in accordance with approved methodologies, technical specifications, project schedules and quality requirements.
Qualifications and Experience Applicants must possess: A relevant AQF qualification in engineering, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, engineering technology or a closely related field; A minimum of 1 year of relevant post-qualification experience in geotechnical, civil construction, drilling, ground stabilisation or a related engineering environment; Demonstrated experience in the supervision and coordination of geotechnical or civil construction activities; Sound knowledge of drilling, ground-stabilisation and associated site operations; Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, project documentation and work methodologies; Experience in site inspections, quality assurance and technical reporting; Robust organisational, communication and project coordination skills; and A strong commitment to workplace health and safety and quality standards.
About You You will be a technically capable and hands-on professional with relevant qualifications and practical experience in geotechnical or civil construction environments.
You will be confident coordinating site operations while maintaining a strong focus on technical compliance, quality assurance, project specifications and the safe and efficient delivery of geotechnical works.
Remuneration A minimum annual salary of $79,500 plus superannuation will be offered for this full-time position, commensurate with the successful applicant's qualifications and experience.
