About the role...
The position we have available is based in our Breakthru unit in Tuggerah, in a café called Breaking Grounds which is open Monday-Friday from approximately 6.30am-4.30pm.
We are looking for people who are interested in working approximately ***** hours per week on a casual basis who have previous hospitality and barista experience.
A popular little hub of activity, this wonderful place not only provides excellent coffee, scrumptious snacks and delicious lunches, it also plays a special role in the community -supporting people with disability to learn aspects of café operations.
This means demonstrating what a outstanding team member looks like and providing great experiences for someone learning the ropes of cafe work life.

are supported by specialist team members so there is no direct responsibility for training outside of the normal support provided by any member of the team).
As a member of our team in this space, your role will include all the typical tasks and responsibilities of working in a busy community café such as serving customers with a smile, running food and assisting with food preparation.
A typical day can include: A keen interest in coffee Providing fantastic customer service, making everyone in the area feel welcome Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins Keeping all areas of the café clean and tidy Opening and closing the café Counting the tills Keeping the work areas stocked and ready to go Building good relationships with customers About you...
