About the role
We are seeking a passionate Social Worker to join our Renal, Oncology and Endocrinology Specialty Medicine team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Grade 2 Social Worker looking to further develop within a collaborative and supportive team workplace, or for a Grade 1 Social Worker ready to take the next step in their career and grow their clinical skills within a specialty medicine setting.
You'll also have opportunities to supervise and support Grade 1 staff, Allied Health Assistants, and students, while contributing to the ongoing development of Social Work services alongside senior clinicians.
You'll be encouraged to participate in service improvement and research initiatives led by our Grade 3 and Grade 4 Clinical Leads, helping shape the future of Social Work at Eastern Health.
What you'll bring
Tertiary qualifications in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the AASW.
2+ years of Social Work experience ideally in a healthcare setting
A passion for delivering person-centered, collaborative, and compassionate care.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Experience in Renal, Oncology and Endocrinology Specialty Medicine would be advantageous but not essential.
