FHR Recruitment is partnering with Leading Image School Photos to build its NSW photography team for the **** school photography season.
We're looking for experienced photographers and people with strong photography and customer service skills who are interested in casual, seasonal work across metropolitan and regional NSW.
If you have previous school, group, event, sports or high-volume photography experience, we particularly want to hear from you.
The Opportunity As a Casual School Photographer, you'll work as part of the Leading Image NSW team, photographing students and staff across a variety of schools.
Depending on your experience, your work may include: Individual student and staff portraits Class and group photography Setting up and packing down photography equipment Working alongside experienced photographers and crew leaders Engaging with students, teachers and school staff Following established photography processes and workflows Basic digital administration associated with photography days Travel throughout NSW, including some regional and overnight work School photography involves early starts , but this can also mean early finishes.
Training and preparation will be provided ahead of the **** photography season.
What We're Looking For We're looking for reliable, energetic people who genuinely enjoy photography and working with others.
Previous professional photography experience is highly regarded, particularly school and group photography experience .
To be successful, you'll ideally be: Confident behind the camera Friendly and comfortable working with children A solid communicator who can engage with students, teachers and school staff Reliable,



organised and punctual Comfortable working to schedules and established processes A good team player Comfortable with basic computer and administration tasks Available to travel when required You'll also need: A current driver's licence A current NSW Working with Children Check (Employee), or the ability to obtain one A National Police Check, or the ability to obtain one Full working rights in Australia Pay Conditions Casual rates range from $33 to $50 per hour , depending on the work being performed, level of responsibility and experience.
Applicable travel and other allowances are also paid.
Experienced photographers who can take on additional responsibilities, particularly group photography , will have opportunities to work at the higher end of the rate structure.
