About the Podiatry andHigh RiskFoot Service
The Podiatry andHigh RiskFoot Serviceoperatesacross all sites and campuses of Austin Health including the Austin Hospital, Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital and Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Center.
Weprovideservices within specialist outpatient clinics and admitted inpatient streams, both at home and in hospital.
The serviceimplementsanddelivershigh qualityevidence-based assessment and intervention for acuteand chronicfoot conditions.
We partner with our clients to deliver best practice care in the community or hospital setting, aiming to reduce or prevent clinical deterioration,complicationsandtime in hospital.
We collaborate broadly with teams across our health networkto ensure integrated, patient centered care is well coordinated.
The large multi-disciplinary team works inacollaborative model including Endocrinology, Infectious diseases, Vascular Surgery, Orthotics,Dieteticsand Diabetes Education.




Our Podiatry team consists of a Podiatry Manager, High Risk foot service clinical coordinator, senior podiatry staff and administration ensuring the successful candidate is well supported.

A regular day will see you:
Deliveringbest practice assessment and intervention for complexhighriskfoot clients across busy inpatient and outpatient streams
Collaboratingwith teamsacrossour health network and the community to ensure effective, coordinated care is delivered
Participatingi n supervision,innovation,researchandprofessionaldevelopment
