Full-time Solid Plasterer position available in Mona Vale NSW ****.
Position Overview Peninsula Pools provides pool maintenance, repairs, equipment installation and pool restoration services, with a strong focus on quality workmanship and customer service.
As a Solid Plasterer at Peninsula Pools, you will be responsible for preparing, repairing and finishing plaster, cement and render surfaces associated with swimming pool renovations and restorations.
This position requires strong practical trade skills, attention to surface quality and the ability to deliver durable, consistent finishes in pool environments.
Position Responsibilities and Tasks Prepare swimming pool surfaces for plastering and rendering by cleaning, removing deteriorated coatings and loose material, and applying suitable bonding agents.
Mix plaster, cement, render and similar materials to the required consistency for pool renovation and restoration projects.
Apply coats of plaster, cement and render to pool structures using appropriate hand tools and trowels, maintaining a consistent and uniform thickness.
Level, straighten and smooth pool walls, floors, corners, steps and other surfaces to achieve accurate lines and high-quality finishes.
Repair and patch cracked, damaged or deteriorated plaster and cement surfaces as part of swimming pool restoration works.




Create smooth or specified finishing textures and complete final surface detailing in accordance with project requirements.
Measure work areas and estimate the quantities of plaster, cement, render and associated materials required for each pool restoration job.
Inspect prepared and finished surfaces, identify defects or uneven areas, and carry out corrective work before project completion.
Coordinate plastering activities with pool technicians and other trades to support productive renovation, repair and equipment installation schedules.
Maintain tools and work areas, follow safe work procedures, and protect surrounding pool finishes, equipment and customer property during works.
Qualifications and Skills Relevant qualification.
Minimum 1 year experience as a Solid Plasterer.
Demonstrated ability to prepare, apply, level and finish plaster, cement and render surfaces.
Strong knowledge of surface preparation, repair and finishing techniques.
Ability to use plastering tools and equipment safely and accurately.
Strong attention to detail, time management and ability to work effectively with technicians and other trades.
Salary The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $79,000 - $90,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
