We are seeking an experienced
Senior Structural Designer
to join our Perth team, working on a diverse portfolio of projects across the mining and energy sectors.
This role offers the opportunity to work across the full project lifecycle, from studies and detailed design through to construction support.
This role will be based at our new Head Office located at 219 St Georges Tce, Perth.
Adjacent to the train station, the office has state of the art end of journey facilities, including secure storage for bicycles and scooters,



a gym (with scheduled fitness classes), a tennis court, a basketball hoop and a swimming pool available for all Primero employees.
Your Key Responsibilities
Develop 3D structural designs for the project using AutoCAD
Produce design deliverables for studies, detailed engineering and construction phases
Coordinate with mechanical, structural, civil, electrical and process engineering teams
Participate in design reviews, model reviews and interdisciplinary coordination
Liaise with clients, vendors and project stakeholders
Support junior designers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian and industry standards
What You 'Can Do'
Significant experience in structural design (concrete and steel) within mining, minerals processing or heavy industry
Experience in the Autodesk suite of software including Advance Steel is highly desirable
Experience working across feasibility and detailed design projects
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
