Operating Wednesday - Sunday, the Kurrajong Hotel will serve lunch and dinner, expanding into breakfast in coming weeks, making it a true hub for locals and visitors alike.
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, delivering high-quality dishes that reflect our commitment to excellence in the hospitality and catering industry.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a desire to contribute to a vibrant dining experience.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards.
Assist in the management of kitchen operations,



including inventory control and food safety compliance.
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations.
Monitor food stock levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a busy kitchen environment.
Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
Excellent cooking skills and a passion for food.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
