Key Responsibilities

- Interpretandworkfromconstructionplansanddrawings
- Setoutbrickworkaccuratelyaccordingtoprojectspecifications
- Laybricksandblockstotherequiredstandardandfinish
- Prepareandmixmortartotheappropriateconsistency
- Measureandmaintainaccuratelevels,linesandalignment
- Operatebrickcuttingequipmentsafelyandeffectively




- Inspectcompletedworktoensurequalityandaccuracy
- Followconstructionspecificationsandestablishedbuildingpractices
- Maintainsafeworkingpracticesacrossresidentialandcommercialsites
- Usehandtools,powertoolsandbricklayingequipmentappropriately
- Coordinatewithsupervisorsandotherconstructiontrades
- Maintainacleanandorganisedworkarea
- Completeassignedworkefficientlywhilemeetingprojectdeadlines

Requirements & Eligibility

- Recognisedtradequalificationin Bricklaying,minimum CertificateIIIorequivalent
- Provenexperienceworkingprofessionallyasa Bricklayer
- Strongpracticalunderstandingofbricklayingtechniquesandconstructionprocesses
- Abilitytoconfidentlyreadandinterpretbuildingplans
- Demonstratedabilitytoproduceaccurateandhigh-qualitybrickwork
- Competenceusinglevels,measuringequipmentandbrickcuttingmachinery
- Understandingofworkplacehealthandsafetyrequirements
- Reliableandprofessionalapproachtoemployment
- Abilitytoworkindependentlyandeffectivelywithinaconstructionteam
- Physicallycapableofperformingtherequirementsofabricklayingrole
- Applicantsmustbeabletoprovideevidenceoftheirqualificationsandrelevantworkexperience
