The Opportunity: A growing Gold Coast Design & Construct business is looking for a Commercial Interior Designer or Architect to join their boutique team. Established for around 10 years, the business works nationally, partnering with fitout builders as well as working directly with commercial tenants, landlords and other clients.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more than just a desk-based design role. You’ll be involved across the project lifecycle, work directly with clients and builders, and have genuine input into the design and delivery of projects.

The Role: You’ll work across commercial fitout projects from initial concepts through to construction documentation and delivery.

Your day-to-day will include:

- Developing commercial interior design concepts




- Producing detailed construction documentation in Archicad
- 3D modelling and renders
- Preparing FFE schedules
- Working directly with builders and project teams
- Liaising with clients and consultants
- Ensuring designs are practical, buildable and commercially considered
- Working within established systems and templates

About You: We’re open to speaking with both emerging and experienced designers/architects.

You’ll ideally have:

- Commercial interior design or architectural experience
- Strong Archicad skills
- Construction documentation experience
- A good understanding of buildability and construction
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- A practical and commercially minded approach
- The confidence to deal directly with clients and builders
