Our client, Broken Hill Base Hospital & Health Services, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department on a three-month contract, commencing as soon as possible. Based in Broken Hill, NSW, this role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care environment where clinical skill and composure under pressure are essential. The successful candidate will bring solid emergency nursing experience and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a quick-paced setting.

- Work across triage, resuscitation, and acute patient management in a busy ED
- Three-month contract position, available to start immediately
- Based in Broken Hill, NSW, with a supportive clinical team and structured shift roster

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated experience working in an emergency department environment




- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Competence in triage assessment and patient prioritisation
- Solid resuscitation skills and the ability to respond effectively in high-acuity situations
- Strong clinical communication and the capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated ongoing professional development in emergency nursing
- Additional emergency-focused certifications (such as TNCC or ENPC) are advantageous
