About Our Client:

Australias largest vertically-integrated construction materials company. That means we not only supply customers with outstanding raw materials like aggregate and sand, we also develop and produce advanced construction materials and solutions like low-carbon concretes and advanced asphalts.

What you will be doing:

Majority of the workday is completed within the cabin of the vehicle. Duties involve a range of hand functions, forward reaching, steering, foot pedal operations and head next and upper body turning positions for observations. In addition to the mobile plant operation, operators are also required to assist the labourers with manual tasks such as sweeping, raking and shovelling asphalt.

Manual work is dependent on the nature of the project and skill mix on the crew and typically constitutes 5-10% of a workday. It can be as much as 60-70% of the workday if the crew is rich with plant operators. Mobile plant operators are exposed to whole body vibration and noise from machinery operation. They are also classified as working at height (up to 4 metres.)

They are exposed to radiant heat and odours from the hot asphalt and need to have capacity to wear respiratory protection if required.

Lifting and carrying / manual handling tasks up to 25kgs

What you will need:





- Drivers License
- Plant Operator Tickets
- Complete all competencies and VOCs required for paving operations
- White Construction Card
- Labouring Experience
