Full-Time Front Office Host

Andaz Gold Coast is looking for a warm, intuitive and effortlessly welcoming Front Office Host to join our team.

As a Front Office Host, you’ll be at the heart of that experience. You’ll welcome guests into the hotel, create thoughtful arrivals and departures, respond to requests with confidence and share your knowledge of the Gold Coast in a way that feels natural and considered.

You’ll help shape the mood from the moment guests arrive. Some days will be lively and social. Others will be calm and unhurried. You’ll read the moment, trust your instincts and bring your own personality to every interaction.

What you’ll do

- Welcome guests with warmth, confidence and genuine care
- Create smooth, personal check-in and check-out experiences
- Build meaningful connections and anticipate guest needs
- Share local knowledge, recommendations and hidden gems
- Respond to questions, requests and feedback with a calm, solutions-focused approach
- Coordinate with colleagues across the hotel to create a seamless stay
- Maintain accurate guest information and complete front office procedures
- Support room moves, payments, reservations and other daily hotel operations
- Help create a welcoming and polished arrival experience at all times

Qualifications

What you’ll bring





- Experience in front office, guest services or a similar hospitality role
- A natural ability to connect with people from all backgrounds
- Strong communication skills and confidence using hotel systems
- A calm, organised approach in a fast-moving environment
- Good local knowledge, or a genuine curiosity to discover and share the best of the Gold Coast
- The flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
- A collaborative spirit, positive energy and an eye for the small details
- Must already have current and ongoing working rights for Australia
