The Contracts Analyst, Procurement Services is responsible for administering CSC's contract and procurement lifecycle processes. The role provides contract drafting, procurement advisory, analysis, reporting and compliance services to enable effective commercial outcomes.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

- Draft supplier contracts, Deeds of Variation, Purchase Orders and procurement request documentation.
- Review contracts and procurement documentation for alignment with applicable policies, regulations and laws, liaising with Legal, Risk and Governance (LRG) as required.
- Extract and analyse contract data from the CSC Financial Management Information System (FMIS) to support contract managers in monitoring supplier performance, contractual compliance and informed decision-making.
- Prepare biannual Senate Order reports and administer AusTender reporting.
- Review and Process Spending Proposals, Contracts and Contract Variations within the FMIS, as well as the compliant onboarding of current suppliers in accordance with the Procure to Pay Procedures.
- Triage Contract Variations for further approvals in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Coordinate responses to emails received to the Procurement Services inbox, responding to procurement queries, providing contract drafting and procurement advice to business areas, and training and assisting users with the contracts and procurement functions within the FMIS.
- Maintain contract records within the FMIS to ensure data quality against the standards set within the Procure to Pay Procedures.
- Work with business areas and Accounts Payable to ensure the on-time payment of our suppliers.




- Provide continuous improvement of the above processes so that they continue to meet regulatory standards and support the business to achieve improved member outcomes.

Specific duties, deliverables and reporting lines may vary from time-to-time dependant on business needs and priorities. Key objectives and measurements will be captured in the Performance & Development planning cycle, established annually and adapted as needed.

What we are looking for:

Qualifications

- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, with Law, Legal Studies or a related field highly desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of contract and commercial law.

About you

- At least five years' experience in a private sector corporate environment, with experience in government or other highly regulated organisations.
- Strong experience drafting, reviewing, interpreting and administering contracts, including complex ICT, consultancy and supplier agreements.
- Knowledge and experience in procurement and contract management, including Commonwealth procurement processes and platforms such as AusTender.
- Experience using financial management, procurement or ERP systems to administer contracts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to use data to identify and drive process improvements.
- Experience working in an APRA-regulated or similarly highly regulated environment would be desirable.
