About the Position

This is an opportunity for an experienced Duty Manager to take a key leadership role within a busy hospitality operation. You’ll oversee shifts, lead the team, maintain service standards, and ensure the venue runs smoothly across all areas of the operation. Offering $80K + super, this role suits a confident hospitality leader who enjoys being visible on the floor and taking ownership of the shift.

Position Description

- Oversee day-to-day venue operations during allocated shifts
- Lead, coach and support the hospitality team
- Set clear expectations and maintain service standards
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate operational priorities
- Manage customer service and resolve guest issues
- Monitor venue presentation, compliance and safety
- Assist with rostering, staffing and labour requirements




- Oversee gaming, TAB and other venue operations where required
- Complete shift reports and communicate key issues to senior management
- Support training, development and performance management
- Be hands-on and visible across the venue during busy periods

Position Requirements
- Previous Duty Manager, Assistant Manager or senior hospitality supervisory experience
- Strong experience leading hospitality teams
- Confident setting expectations and holding team members accountable
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience managing busy service periods and multiple operational areas
- Sound understanding of liquor, gaming and venue compliance
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
- RSA and RCG required
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Reliable, hands-on and confident leading from the front
