DFP Recruitment is seeking experienced Qualitative Research and Evidence Analysts to support a major Federal Government project focused on evidence gathering, stakeholder consultation, and qualitative analysis within the disability sector. These opportunities are available at the APS5 and APS6 equivalent level and offer the chance to contribute to meaningful work that informs policy and decision-making.

We are seeking individuals with strong qualitative research capabilities who can work across the full research lifecycle, from data collection and coding through to analysis, reporting, and presentation of findings.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse structured and unstructured qualitative data from public consultations and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Code and interpret qualitative information, identifying key themes, patterns, and insights.
- Utilise qualitative analysis tools such as NVivo or similar platforms.
- Support the development of consultation materials, surveys, and stakeholder communications.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries to communicate findings effectively.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure analysis is robust, consistent, and evidence-based.
- Maintain awareness of potential sources of bias and apply strategies to ensure objective analysis.

About You To be successful, you will demonstrate:

- Experience conducting qualitative research and thematic analysis.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using qualitative analysis software such as NVivo or equivalent.
- Exceptional written communication and reporting abilities.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience within government, health, disability, social policy, public consultation,



or research environments will be highly regarded.

Essential Requirements
- Australian Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain a National Police Check.
- Availability to commence in November 2026.
