Job Duties/Essential Functions

- Loading and unloading of trailers/trucks
- RF Scanning
- Wrapping and strapping of pallets
- Sorting the pallets and tagging as required (some heavy lifting involved)
- Operating an electric pallet jack to move pallets of received and sorted merchandise to shipping lanes or to other areas of the depot
- Chiller/Cold storage distribution experience is an advantage. (between 5 to minus 18 degrees)
- Must have warehouse experience and be physically fit

Ability to operate vehicles, equipment, or machinery
- Forklift experience is required
- EPJ experience is required
- Computer, printer, phone, calculator, handheld two-way radio

Non-Essential functions

- Assists in other departments where necessary.
- Maintains a high level of facility safety, security, cleanliness

Qualifications

- Education/Training: Higher School Certificate preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Forklift Licence required
- Knowledge/Skills: Basic Computer Skills
