Our client, Broken Hill Base Hospital & Health Services, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Inpatient Mental Health Unit on a three-month contract, commencing as soon as possible. Based in Broken Hill, NSW, this role offers the opportunity to deliver direct patient care in a specialised mental health setting, working alongside a dedicated clinical team in a regional healthcare environment.

- Deliver direct nursing care to inpatients in a specialised mental health unit
- Three-month contract position, available to start immediately

Preferred Requirements

- Recent, demonstrated experience working in an inpatient mental health setting
- Solid clinical assessment and observation skills in mental health nursing
- Ability to build therapeutic relationships with patients and support their recovery goals
- Competence in mental health documentation and care planning
- Flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Mental health nursing qualification or post-graduate study in mental health is advantageous
