Service Coordinator – Fire Protection

An established and growing fire protection contractor is looking for an experienced Service Coordinator to join its Sydney service team.

This is a key coordination role supporting the delivery of ongoing service, maintenance and routine testing works across a portfolio of commercial buildings, high-rise properties and shopping centres.

We are specifically looking for someone who already understands the fire protection industry. You will be coordinating technicians, and service works from initial work order through to completion, so previous fire industry experience and hands-on Uptick experience are essential.

The Role
Working closely with the service team, you will be responsible for:

- Coordinating planned, preventative and reactive fire maintenance works
- Scheduling field technicians and subcontractors based on location, priority and skillset
- Receiving work orders, creating jobs and managing scheduling through Uptick
- Monitoring jobs through to completion and ensuring works are closed out correctly
- Coordinating routine testing and maintenance across commercial sites
- Managing service documentation, reports and client portals
- Raising purchase orders and coordinating subcontractor requirements
- Following up technicians for reports, job updates and outstanding works
- Assisting with invoicing queries and service administration




- Communicating with clients regarding scheduling, access and job progress
- Supporting the wider service team to ensure maintenance commitments and deadlines are met

About You
To be considered, you will need:

- Previous experience in a Service Coordinator, Fire Coordinator, Scheduler or similar role within the fire protection industry
- Strong hands-on experience using Uptick
- Experience coordinating ongoing service, maintenance and routine testing works
- Confidence scheduling multiple technicians across a busy service environment
- A good understanding of fire service terminology and maintenance workflows
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confident communication skills when dealing with technicians, subcontractors and clients
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow jobs through from initial work order to completion
