The organisation is entering an important phase of leadership succession and is seeking an ambitious Finance Manager who is eager to make a genuine impact while positioning themselves for future executive leadership opportunities.

Your new role:
Reporting to the CFO, you will play a critical leadership role across the finance function while partnering closely with senior stakeholders to support business performance, governance and strategic decision-making. The position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside an experienced finance leader as part of a structured succession plan with potential future progression into a CFO position.
Key responsibilities include:

- Leading month-end and year-end accounting, management reporting and financial controls
- Delivering budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and cash flow management
- Managing treasury activities, banking relationships and foreign currency exposures
- Overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Driving working capital performance and process improvement initiatives
- Managing taxation, statutory reporting and external compliance requirements
- Coordinating external audits and supporting risk management activities
- Developing and mentoring finance team members while fostering a high-performance culture




- Partnering with executive leaders to provide commercial insights and strategic financial advice

What you'll need to succeed:
To be successful in this role, you will be a commercially minded finance professional with strong technical capability and proven leadership experience.
You will ideally possess:

- CA or CPA qualification
- Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
- Experience leading a broad finance function within a commercial environment
- Strong financial reporting, compliance and financial control expertise
- Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop finance teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate financial information into commercial outcomes

Exposure within manufacturing, distribution, FMCG, agribusiness or other product-based environments, along with experience working in multinational organisations, will be highly regarded.
