MTJ Chartered Accountants is a growing, modern accounting firm conveniently located adjacent to Turramurra Station. We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to work closely with our Partners and play a key role in the day-to-day management and future development of the practice.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Partners, you will oversee the firm's operational, compliance and administrative functions while supporting workflow efficiency, staff management and practice growth.

Key responsibilities include:

- Working closely with Partners and accountants to ensure efficient and effective practice operations

- Taking ownership of practice management across the firm and involvement in strategic projects

- Supporting and managing the administration team

- Overseeing ATO lodgement program and complex ATO administration matters

- Supporting automation, AI adoption and practice modernisation initiatives

- Improving workflows, systems and procedures

- Managing ASIC compliance and corporate secretarial functions

About the Candidate

You will have:

- Several years' experience in a public practice accounting firm





- Previous Practice Manager or senior administration experience

- The ability to work closely with Partners and lead the administration team

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

- Solid organisational and problem-solving abilities

- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

- Experience with ASIC, corporate secretarial and ATO administration

Software Experience

Highly regarded to have experience with the following software:

- Xero Practice Manager (XPM), FYI Docs, NowInfinity, ATOMate, Omble, BGL.
