About Our Client

Our client is a leading provider of waste management and environmental services across the Mackay and Moranbah regions. With a strong focus on safety, reliability, and sustainable waste solutions, they provide essential services to local communities, commercial operations, and resource-sector clients.

With a strong commitment to their people and safe work practices, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Driver to join a supportive team with the potential to secure a permanent position.

What You Will Be Doing:

Operating HR waste management vehicles safely and efficiently across Mackay and Moranbah.

Undertaking residential, commercial, and/or industrial waste collection services.

Completing scheduled waste collection runs in a safe and timely manner.

Operating vehicle-mounted waste collection equipment and associated controls.

Conducting pre-start checks and reporting any vehicle or equipment faults.

Ensuring waste is collected, transported, and disposed of in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements.

Completing required paperwork, documentation, and collection records.

Maintaining a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and presentation.

Working as part of a team to ensure daily collection schedules and service requirements are met.

Following all site, road, environmental, and workplace health and safety requirements.

What You Will Need:

Current HR Drivers Licence.

Previous experience operating HR vehicles, preferably within waste management, logistics, transport, or a similar environment.

A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Ability to safely operate vehicles and waste collection equipment.

Good communication skills and a professional approach to customers and members of the public.





Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable transport and a strong attendance record.

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening, if required.

Whats in it for you:

$45.45 per hour base rate, plus overtime when required.

Monday to Friday roster, giving you your weekends free.

Consistent 5:00am 1:00pm working hours.

Ongoing temporary position with the opportunity to transition to permanent employment.

Opportunity to work with an established waste management provider.

Ongoing support from the WorkPac team throughout your assignment.
