The Queensland Police Service is seeking a Senior Workforce Coordinator to support workforce planning and people services as it prepares for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. In this Ao6 role, you will coordinate recruitment, onboarding, employee lifecycle and HR governance activities; analyse workforce trends and resource demands; support staffing models, frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives; and provide practical advice to management, project leads and stakeholders to enable informed workforce decisions.

Your key accountabilities

The core capability requirements for this role are:

• Coordinate and develop a staffing model to meet the operational requirements of the project, incorporating forecasting of workforce requirements and consideration of growth and emerging business needs.
• Coordinate and manage workforce-related activities including rostering, recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, employee lifecycle processes, and HR governance.




• Analyse trends and provide advice to senior management on operational and resource demands; prepare and present submissions; and actively contribute to operational plans and strategies, including providing advice to project leads and management on resourcing requirements and impacts.
• Identify, develop, and implement strategies to support workforce capability and continuous improvement initiatives, including workforce frameworks, policies, procedures, and industrial and workforce compliance, to enable informed decisionmaking by management.
• Develop and maintain relationships and effective communication with key internal and external stakeholders and service providers in line with legislative and organisational objectives and represent the work unit in internal and external committees.
• Provide leadership and direction to support staff by determining priorities and responding to and resolving issues.
