Rocket Care is a growing NDIS provider committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support across South East Queensland.

We are looking for reliable and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our Supported Independent Living (SIL) teams and support participants to achieve their goals, increase their independence and enjoy meaningful community participation.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide individualised support to NDIS participants within their homes, Supported Independent Living (SIL) environments and the wider community.

You may support participants with:

- Daily living and household tasks

- Personal care

- Community access and participation

- Medication support

- Behaviours of concern and complex support needs

- Building independence and developing life skills

- Achieving individual NDIS goals

- Creating meaningful connections and opportunities

IMPORTANT: SLEEPOVER AVAILABILITY IS ESSENTIAL

This is a SIL position and applicants must be willing and available to complete sleepover shifts as part of their regular roster.

You will need to be comfortable working a rotating roster that may include:

- Sleepovers

- Early morning shifts

- Afternoon/evening shifts

- Weekends and public holidays

Your Mission

- Provide active, person-centred support to participants

- Assist with daily living, personal care and community access

- Support participants to develop and maintain independence

- Provide support to participants with behaviours of concern and complex needs

- Build positive,



respectful and meaningful relationships

- Follow individual support plans and organisational procedures

- Complete clear, accurate and timely progress notes

- Work collaboratively with participants, families, support coordinators and the wider Rocket Care team

- Contribute to a safe, inclusive and positive home environment

Mission Requirements

We are looking for people who have:

- Experience working in disability support (SIL experience is highly regarded)

- A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support or a related field, or willingness to obtain/work towards one

- NDIS Worker Screening Check

- Current First Aid and CPR

- A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle

- Good communication and documentation skills

- A genuine commitment to person-centred support

- Willingness and availability to complete sleepover shifts

- Availability across a rotating roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays
