Our client is an established not-for-profit organisation with multi sites. With further growth planned, the organisation offers a stable, community-focused environment and a welcoming, close-knit back-office team.
They are seeking an immediately available Accounts Receivable Officer for a 3 month assignment to provide additional support while several team members take extended annual leave. There may be an opportunity to transition to a permanent role for a candidate with unrestricted ongoing working rights.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working within a finance team of seven to eight, you will provide reliable, hands-on support across day-to-day accounts activities. Your duties will include:
- Preparing and sending monthly fee statements
- Processing recharges
- Managing receipting and allocations
- Processing invoices for support-at-home programs and setting up new suppliers
- Assisting with bank reconciliations as required
Your Background
To be considered for this Accounts Receivable Officer position, you will be immediately available and meet the following criteria:
- At least four years’ experience in an all-round Accounts Clerk, Receivable or Finance Officer role
- A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work steadily through a high volume of tasks
- Robust attention to detail and confidence working across accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Epicor experience is advantageous
- Availability to work five days per week in the Inner west office
