We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Painter to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out a range of painting and surface preparation tasks across residential and commercial projects. The role requires sound technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to complete work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Arrange ladders, scaffolding and protective sheets to safely prepare the work area.

- Strip existing paint or wallpaper and prepare surfaces through sanding, patching and sealing.

- Assess and prepare coating materials, including paints, stains, varnishes and primers.

- Apply decorative and protective coatings using brushes,



rollers and spray equipment.

- Install wallpaper and ensure patterns and edges are properly aligned and finished.

- Examine painted surfaces and complete any required corrections or finishing work.

- Wash, clean and maintain painting equipment following each job.

- Undertake minor repairs to window frames and glass where necessary.

- Keep work areas clean and comply with all relevant health and safety procedures.

Skills and Experience

- Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent qualification.

- Minimum 1-year relevant experience preferred.

- Knowledge of painting materials and techniques.

- Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
