JRM Hospitality is currently connecting with experienced Restaurant Managers and Bar Managers across the Melbourne market for a range of current and upcoming opportunities.

We work with leading restaurants, bars, hotels, hospitality groups and premium venues throughout Melbourne, with roles ranging from established operations through to exciting new openings.

Whether your background is more heavily focused on restaurant operations, beverage management or a combination of both, we would be interested in speaking with experienced hospitality leaders who are considering their next move.

The Roles

Depending on the opportunity, responsibilities may include:

- Leading daily restaurant and bar operations

- Managing and developing front-of-house teams

- Driving strong service standards and guest engagement

- Recruitment, onboarding and staff training

- Rostering and labour management

- Stock control, ordering and cost management

- Managing beverage programs, wine lists, cocktails and supplier relationships

- Working closely with kitchen and senior management teams

- Monitoring sales, labour and operational performance

- Supporting functions, events and high-volume trading periods

- Maintaining venue presentation, compliance and licensing standards

- Building a positive,



professional and accountable team culture

About You

We are keen to hear from candidates with experience as a:

- Restaurant Manager

- Bar Manager

- Assistant Restaurant Manager

- Assistant Bar Manager

- Beverage Manager

- Venue Manager with strong restaurant or bar experience

You will ideally bring:

- Previous management experience within a quality hospitality environment

- Strong floor presence and a hands-on leadership style

- Experience managing and developing teams

- Sound knowledge of rostering, labour and operational costs

- Strong guest service and communication skills

- Confidence working in busy, high-volume environments

- Beverage, wine, spirits or cocktail knowledge where relevant

- Valuable commercial awareness and attention to detail

- Professional presentation and a genuine passion for hospitality
