About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join Guardian Building Group. This is a full-time position based in Penrith, NSW, offering an exciting opportunity to drive sales growth and build strong client relationships within the construction and building industry. As a Sales Representative, you will be instrumental in expanding our market presence, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional value to our clients. This role is critical to our continued success and growth trajectory.

What you'll be doing

- Identifying and qualifying recent sales opportunities within the local and regional market

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and prospects through regular contact and follow-up

- Presenting product and service offerings to potential customers, highlighting key benefits and value propositions

- Negotiating terms and conditions of sales agreements to achieve targets whilst ensuring customer satisfaction

- Meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets

- Preparing weekly reports

- Collaborating with the internal team to ensure customer requirements are met and expectations exceeded

- Gathering market intelligence and competitor information to inform sales strategy

- Maintaining accurate records of all customer interactions

- Attending industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities to generate leads and establish brand awareness from time to time

What we're looking for

- Proven track record of success in a sales representative preferably within the construction, building or related industry

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse clientele

- Excellent negotiation and closing techniques with a demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets

- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for achieving and surpassing goals





- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the region as required

- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

- Knowledge of the construction or building industry is highly desirable

- A consultative approach to sales with the ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions
