Traffic Engineer

About the Job

We are a NSW-based traffic and transport consultancy with offices in Newcastle and Sydney, delivering high-quality traffic engineering and road safety services across metropolitan and regional projects.

We are seeking a motivated and technically solid Traffic Engineer to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of Development Applications (DA), infrastructure upgrades, construction traffic management, and Road Safety Audits throughout NSW.

If you enjoy solving real-world transport challenges, working closely with private developers and design teams, and liaising with councils and Transport for NSW to achieve approvals — this role is for you.

About the Role

You will be responsible for preparing Traffic Impact Assessments and transport reports to support development and infrastructure projects across NSW. You will also be involved in undertaking and contributing to Road Safety Audits across various project stages.

You’ll collaborate with planners, architects, project managers, developers, and contractors to deliver compliant, practical, and commercially sound traffic outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

- Degree in Civil or Traffic/Transport Engineering





- 2–5 years’ traffic engineering experience in NSW

- Strong understanding of the NSW planning framework

- Experience with SIDRA and AutoTURN

- Strong technical report writing skills

- Ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines

- NSW Drivers License

- Road Safety Audit accreditation (Level 1–3) is highly regarded

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $90,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
