About the role

As SIL Team Leader, you will be the key point of coordination for your house — managing staff, documentation, participant support, and household operations to ensure participants receive safe, consistent, and high-quality care. You'll work closely with families, allied health professionals, and other stakeholders to support positive outcomes for participants, while leading and supporting your team on the ground.

Key responsibilities

- Maintain accurate, up-to-date participant documentation and records

- Liaise with families, Behaviour Support Practitioner, APO, allied health professionals, and stakeholders on participant progress

- Oversee medication management, audits, and medical appointments

- Manage household budgets, shopping, and supplies

- Report and follow up on maintenance issues

- Prepare staff rosters and manage leave

- Lead staff meetings and supervise the team

About you

- Proven experience in a Team Leader or senior support role within SIL or disability services

- Strong understanding of NDIS requirements and person-centred support practices

- Good literacy skills for report writing or responding to queries from Behaviour Support Practitioners, APO and other stakeholders

- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage rosters, budgets, and documentation

- Confident communicator,



comfortable liaising with families, Behaviour Support Practitioner, APO, allied health professionals, and internal teams

- Experience with medication management and audits

- A current driver's licence, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

- A genuine passion for empowering people with disability to live fulfilling, independent lives

- Be able to delegate some tasks to a senior/experienced team member
