About the Company

Davidson is partnering with a large, complex organisation seeking an experienced AO5 Asset Manager to join its Property Management team.

The organisation manages a significant and diverse portfolio encompassing office accommodation, residential properties, convention facilities, heritage buildings and other property assets. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the sustainable management and ongoing performance of this important portfolio.

About the Role

Reporting to the Principal Asset Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management of an allocated property portfolio and associated asset programs.

You will apply best-practice asset management principles while working closely with internal and external stakeholders to support effective property outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing asset management expertise, advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders
- Identifying and supporting the delivery of major and minor works projects
- Providing project management guidance and qualified input throughout project delivery
- Managing revenue and expenditure and contributing to budget development
- Maximising investment returns across the allocated property portfolio
- Managing property assets in accordance with relevant strategies and policies
- Undertaking property inspections, including travel where required
- Reviewing and contributing to relevant asset management policies and strategies
- Preparing reports, briefing notes, correspondence and submissions
- Representing the organisation at meetings, external events and relevant industry forums

About You

You will bring demonstrated property and asset management experience, ideally gained across a large and diverse portfolio.



You will be confident balancing strategic priorities with operational requirements while developing productive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.

You will also demonstrate:

- Experience applying best-practice asset management principles
- Strong capability in generating, reviewing and presenting accurate property data
- The ability to make informed assessments and recommendations
- Proven experience managing projects and programs of varying scale within time and cost constraints
- An understanding of how property portfolios contribute to broader organisational strategies and initiatives
- The ability to identify and mitigate property and asset-related risks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated stakeholder and contractor management capabilities
- The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and negotiate effective outcomes

A C Class Driver Licence is highly desirable for this role.
