We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our team in a hands-on, site-based role supporting operational leaders and employees across a range of HR and workforce matters.

Working closely with site leadership, you'll provide practical HR advice, support employee relations and performance management, and help create a safe, compliant and productive workplace.

About the Role

As a HR Advisor, you'll provide day-to-day HR support across site, partnering with supervisors, managers and employees to manage people-related matters and support effective workforce management.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing practical HR advice across employee relations and people management
- Supporting performance management, investigations, grievances, misconduct and disciplinary matters
- Preparing HR documentation, including investigation outcomes, warnings, performance improvement plans and termination correspondence
- Coaching leaders on employment legislation, Enterprise Agreement interpretation and HR best practice
- Supporting fitness for work,



return-to-work and absenteeism matters in partnership with the Health team
- Building robust relationships with leaders and employees across site
- Working with Payroll, Travel and Site Administration to resolve employee and roster-related matters
- Supporting HR projects, initiatives and continuous improvement activities
- Escalating complex employee relations matters where required

About You

You're an approachable and solutions-focused HR professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams and providing practical advice in a fast-paced environment.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

- Previous experience in an HR Advisor or HR Generalist role
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience across employee relations, investigations, performance management and disciplinary processes
- Working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Awards and/or Enterprise Agreements
- Robust communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- A practical and confident approach to working with leaders at all levels
- Experience in mining, construction, civil, manufacturing or another industrial setting will be highly regarded
