A successful founder-led professional services business is entering a significant recent growth phase and seeking an ambitious executive to lead its commercial expansion and operational development.

We are seeking a hands-on leader who has built revenue, won major clients, scaled teams, and delivered commercial outcomes. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping growth strategy, strengthening organisational capability, and driving sustainable business performance.

The Opportunity
This organisation is an established Australian business with more than 25 years of operating history and a proven national service delivery capability. The business operates in the health, wellbeing and workforce performance sector, helping organisations improve outcomes through data-driven insights, personalised services, and technology-enabled delivery. They have built a strong competitive position through their proprietary technology and intellectual property, long-standing relationships with major corporate and government clients, and a highly skilled multidisciplinary workforce. Supported by significant recurring revenue and strong customer retention, the business also possesses valuable longitudinal data assets that underpin its differentiated market position. Their investment in systems, automation and digital capability, have positioned them to accelerate growth and expand its market.

The Role
Reporting to the Founder, this executive will lead the commercial and operational evolution of the business. Key priorities during the first 12 to 18 months will include:

- Personally leading major new business opportunities
- Developing and refining market segmentation and growth strategy
- Building a scalable and repeatable revenue engine
- Leading and developing the sales team
- Improving utilisation, profitability, and operational performance
- Strengthening leadership capability across the organisation
- Supporting future investment readiness




- Establishing systems and processes that reduce dependency on key individuals
- Driving the adoption of AI and automation across customer, sales, and operational workflows

This role requires an executive who is equally comfortable presenting to CEOs and Boards as they are rolling up their sleeves to solve commercial and operational challenges.

About You
As an experienced executive or senior business leader you will have consistently delivered growth and will be driven by the opportunity to drive the future success of this business. You will bring:

- 10+ years of progressive professional experience
- A strong record of enterprise business development and strategic sales
- Experience selling complex services, advisory solutions, or recurring revenue offerings
- Demonstrated responsibility for revenue, margins, and profitability
- Experience leading teams and scaling operations
- Strong commercial acumen across budgeting, pricing, and performance management
- The ability to build credibility with senior executives and Boards
- A proven track record of delivering profitable growth

Industry experience is less important than commercial achievement. Candidates from health and life insurance, professional services, consulting, workforce solutions, technology, subscription-based services, B2B healthcare, business services, or similar sectors are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate examples where they personally originated and converted significant enterprise sales opportunities. An interest in preventative health, workforce wellbeing, data-driven decision making, and AI-enabled service delivery will be highly regarded.
