Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

- Interpret, understand, and apply technical drawings and engineering documentation to perform vehicle modifications and upgrades.
- Execute engineering work instructions to ensure all modifications meet required technical specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and support functions to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimisation.
- Apply advanced problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve challenges within a manufacturing workplace.
- Complete all required quality, planning,



and system documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to internal special processes, including soldering, torquing, and other controlled manufacturing procedures.

Your Profile

To be eligible for the role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a manufacturing, maintenance, commissioning, rail, or industrial environment.
- Trade qualification (Certificate III or equivalent) in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience performing functional, performance, and safety testing on rail vehicles, rolling stock, or industrial equipment.
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools, test equipment, and systematic fault-finding techniques to identify and resolve technical issues.
