ABOUT BABYMAMA

BabyMama is the Nobby Beach sister venue to award-winning Mamasan Broadbeach. An intimate, 50-seat venue open six days a week, BabyMama is a more casual take on the Mamasan experience, pairing an evolving menu with Mamasan signatures. We're part of the growing Mamasan Restaurant Group, and we're building our venues around great hospitality, outstanding cuisine and exceptional people.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a Head Chef to lead the BabyMama kitchen and shape its next chapter. This is a great fit for a Head Chef looking for a new challenge to put their own stamp on a kitchen or an experienced Senior Sous Chef who is ready to take the next step in their career.

You'll have real ownership of the kitchen, working in consultation with, and reporting to, our Group General Manager and Owner with additional support from Head Office. You'll be responsible for:

- Menu development and specials

- Ordering, stock control and supplier relationships

- Rostering and labour management

- Recruiting, training and developing your team

- Food safety and kitchen compliance

- Consistent quality and smooth, well-run services

- Building a positive,



respectful kitchen culture

WHAT YOU BRING

- Solid experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-quality venue

- A robust understanding of Asian flavours and wok experience is highly desirable

- Confidence leading a team and running a kitchen day to day

- Good commercial awareness across food costs, ordering and labour

- Experience with Restoke and Deputy is favourable, though training will be provided

- Excellent organisation and communication

- A calm, supportive leadership style and pride in developing others
