About our Client
Our client is an established Perth property investment, funds management and development group with a strong track record across the WA market.
With capability spanning investment, acquisitions, development and asset management, the business offers a broader commercial perspective than a traditional project delivery environment.

With an active pipeline of residential and mixed-use built-form projects across Perth, they are looking to appoint a Junior Development Manager who is ready to take on greater project responsibility.

The Opportunity
This will particularly suit an ADM who has built the foundations, but now needs greater ownership and commercial exposure to make the next step. Working alongside senior development professionals, you'll be involved across the full lifecycle of residential and mixed-use developments, from early feasibility and planning through design, delivery and completion.

Development Ownership

- Take responsibility for defined project workstreams across planning, design and delivery
- Drive programmes, actions and milestones rather than simply coordinating them
- Identify project risks early and work with the wider team to resolve them
- Build the capability to progressively manage projects with greater autonomy

Feasibility & Commercial
- Maintain development feasibilities, budgets, cash flows and project assumptions
- Track project performance against financial and commercial objectives
- Contribute to acquisition assessment, due diligence and development recommendations




- Develop a stronger understanding of the investment decisions underpinning each project

Design, Consultants & Delivery
- Manage architects, planners, engineers and other external consultants
- Coordinate design outcomes against programme, budget and development objectives
- Maintain accountability across consultant deliverables and key decisions
- Work closely with delivery partners as projects move through construction

Reporting & Stakeholders
- Prepare transparent project reporting and recommendations for senior development leadership
- Communicate financial, programme and delivery performance accurately
- Build productive relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders
- Present issues with considered solutions and commercial awareness

About You
You'll ideally bring:

- Already working as an Assistant Development Manager and have reached the point where you're ready for more responsibility.
- Exposure to residential or mixed-use built-form development
- A tertiary qualification in Property, Construction, Economics or a related discipline
- Working knowledge of development feasibilities, budgets and project financials
- Strong commercial curiosity and a genuine desire to develop into a well-rounded Development Manager
