McCormack’s Auto & 4WD is looking for an experienced Motor Mechanic to join our growing team.

We are a well-established Brisbane automotive and 4WD business with a strong reputation for quality workmanship, diagnostics, servicing, repairs and 4WD modifications.

This is not a basic service-and-repair job. Our workshop sees a wide range of modern vehicles, 4WDs, commercial vehicles and modified vehicles, so there is plenty of variety and the opportunity to keep developing your skills.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for:

- Diagnosing and repairing a broad range of vehicles

- General servicing and mechanical repairs

- Advanced fault finding and diagnostics

- Suspension, brakes, steering and driveline repairs

- 4WD servicing and repairs

- Pre-purchase inspections and vehicle inspections

- Working on modified and accessory-fitted vehicles

- Completing work to a high standard and within allocated times

- Working as part of a professional workshop team

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who:

- Is a qualified Motor Mechanic

- Has strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

- Has experience working on 4WDs





- Takes pride in their workmanship

- Can work independently without constant supervision

- Has good attention to detail

- Is reliable, punctual, and takes responsibility for their work

- Has a positive attitude and works well within a team

- Wants a long-term position rather than simply another job
