About the role
We’re looking for a senior on-site leader to manage a large casual workforce at a flagship fulfilment / distribution operation in Kemps Creek. This is a high-impact operational leadership position where you’ll bring calm structure to a fast-moving environment, use data to make confident decisions, and lead from the front.

This role is on-site Monday–Friday, typically 8:00am–4:00pm or 9:00am–5:00pm, with occasional after-hours availability for escalations (not frequent, but can happen due to 22/7 operations). Start ASAP (job start date was 21 Sep 2026).

Duties

- Lead and develop a team of approximately 12 direct reports within an established on-site operation
- Oversee day-to-day workforce performance across high-volume warehousing functions (pick/pack, forklift, general warehouse operations)
- Support workforce planning, rostering and coordination to meet operational requirements
- Partner with key stakeholders to ensure workforce capability, engagement and productivity outcomes are met
- Use data and reporting to identify trends, drive decisions, and support continuous improvement




- Manage escalations professionally and maintain stability under pressure in a dynamic environment

Skills and experience

- Strong experience leading teams in warehousing, logistics, distribution, manufacturing or high-volume operations
- Proven ability to use data to drive decisions (comfortable with KPIs, reporting, performance trends)
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management and customer/service mindset
- Calm, leadership style with high emotional intelligence and people focus
- Decisive and outcomes-driven; able to operate effectively in imperfect / changing environments

- Exposure to 24/7 operations and large casual workforces
- Experience in continuous improvement / operational uplift environments
